Install for agents & tooling

Knowledge SDK — install as a devDependency only (not a production runtime).

npm i -D @x12i/xontext-docs

For developers

Install @x12i/xontext; set XONTEXT_MODE=dev for local smoke tests.

  3. 3Register status UI and migrate if needed
Agents
Agents install the knowledge SDK with npm i -D @x12i/xontext-docs and read Markdown packs plus agent-manifest.json.
